The Ukrainian government signed an agreement on May 8 with US investment management firm BlackRock. The deal aims to establish a "Ukraine Development Fund", which aims to attract investments in energy, infrastructure and agriculture.

BlackRock is the largest asset management fund in the world with a market value of about $ 8 trillion on January 2023. The company will manage Ukraine's public debt, which, according to the Ukrainian Ministry of Finance, amounted to $ 119.9 billion at the end of March, equivalent to 78% of GDP for 2022.
