[HIGHLIGHTS] Russian Defense Ministry: US Department of Energy recruited Ukrainians with experience in the field of weapons of mass destruction

The US Department of Energy recruited specialists in Ukraine with experience and knowledge in the field of weapons of mass destruction. This was stated by the head of the radiation, chemical and biological protection troops (RKhBZ) of the Russian Armed Forces, Lieutenant-General Igor Kirillov.

He noted that one of the 17 laboratories of the ministry, the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, located in Washington state, worked directly in Ukraine as part of a project called the Initiative to Prevent the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction.
