Frenchman Benoît Paire loses in five sets to Cameron Norrie at Roland Garros. Paire, 149th in the ATP rankings and invited by the tournament, folded against the Briton.

The Avignon native made the first break at the beginning of the decisive set before being broken at 4-4, so close to the goal. Norrie then got two match balls on Paire's serve, and converted the second. The 34-year-old did not disgust this time, even being solid in several hot moments.
