[HIGHLIGHTS] Representatives of Ukraine refused to lay wreaths on May 8 and 9 at Soviet memorials in Germany

Ukrainian diplomats refuse to lay flowers on May 8 and 9 at Soviet memorials in Berlin. Earlier, the ban on wearing the Russian and Soviet flags in Berlin was lifted.

The ban was imposed by the Tverskoy Court of Moscow on 21/03/2022. The decision was made after a petition was submitted by the citizens of the city of Berlin. The petition was signed by more than 1,000 people, with the majority of them from the city and its surrounding areas.
