Last autumn, we began to take a closer look at elderly care in the county's municipalities. We found discrepancies in Kramfors that, among other things, revealed that an employee had thrown balls at a resident and drawn swastikas on an elderly person.
In Sundsvall municipality, as in many other places, there are problems with staffing in elderly care. The other day it also emerged that the municipality had failed to investigate serious irregularities for eight years. There is a risk that what could have been avoided will thus be allowed to continue.
