Health care will suffer. Regional Councillor Helén Eliasson (S) is critical of the fact that the government's spring budget does not contain any increased state subsidies to municipalities and regions.
According to the forecast in the region's detailed budget, this amounts to just over SEK 1.8 billion. "This will mean that we will have a crisis in healthcare. I am very concerned," says chairman of the regional board. Håkan Lösnitz, group leader for the Sweden Democrats in the regional council, believes that government subsidies will increase – but not until the autumn.
