On May 5, local time, Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Qin Gang attended the fifth China-Afghanistan Trilateral Foreign Ministers' Dialogue. Pakistani Foreign Minister Bilawal presided over the meeting, and Acting Foreign Minister of the Afghan Interim Government Mottaki attended.

Qin Gang said that the successful holding of this foreign ministers' dialogue marks the restart of the trilateral cooperation mechanism between China and Afghanistan. China is willing to strengthen development and connectivity cooperation with Afghanistan and Pakistan, deepen the ties of interests of the three countries.
