This Sunday morning, a fire broke out in the Pyrénées-Orientales. More than 500 hectares of vegetation were covered by the violent fire, fanned by the wind.

Some 360 firefighters were mobilized and 4 Canadair and 2 Dash were deployed to try to put an end to it. "Fire in progress on Cerbère and Banyuls-sur-Mer 550 hectares traveled," tweeted the prefecture of the Pyrínées Orientales, around 16:20.
