Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the rules of residence of residents of new regions without Russian citizenship. One of the conditions is called permanent residence in new regions on the specified date.
People who were permanently residing in the territories of the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye region and Kherson region and then left for Russia are recognized as permanently residing foreigners. It is specified that these groups of citizens have the right to reside according to their documents innew regions of Russia until July 1, 2024.
