Poland and Hungary announced on 16 April that they would suspend the import of agricultural products from Ukraine. Prohibited products include grains, seeds, vegetables, fruits, wine, beef, etc.

Ukraine's Minister of Agricultural Policy and Food Solisky reportedly regretted Poland's decision. He said that the current situation is caused by the blockade of Black Sea ports, and the Polish side needs to take into account that Ukrainian farmers are facing the most difficult situation at present. The two European countries suspended imports of Ukrainian agricultural products until June 6 this year.
