Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded the title of "Hero of Labor" to five Russians. The text of the decree is published on the official portal of legal information.
Putin congratulated the Russians and the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia on the Spring and Labor Day. He noted that May Day in Russia has a long and rich tradition, which is based on love for creative work, respect for the professional achievements of specialists and the achievements of teams. The title was awarded to Lev Kalenov, General Director of the Biysk Linen Company Joint-Stock Company, and Eduard Shcherbina.
