A black Muslim man was violently arrested by police in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, for allegedly committing a traffic violation while driving with his wife and children. According to a video clip documented by the wife, the police assaulted the man by throwing him to the ground, and then one of them put his knee pressing on his neck.
Edmonton Police issued a statement in response to the video posted by the National Council of Muslim Canadians, saying it did not intend to open an investigation into the incident.
