Swedish police officer fired a gunshot with his service weapon during a command to Kiruna in connection with the EU meeting earlier this year. The police receive a disciplinary sanction in the form of a salary deduction.
The man should have taken special care to avoid accidental shootings because there was no specially arranged place for the handling of weapons. The deduction will be 25 percent of the officer's salary for five days. The European Commission's meeting was held in Kiruna on 12-13 January thisyear.
