There are too few dogs mentally tested in Sweden, according to the police. Since the County Administrative Board took over responsibility for supervisory matters from the police, the number of tests has decreased.

Patrik Hopstadius believes that there is a large number of unrecorded cases and thinks that more dogs should be mentally tested. Between 50 and 55 dogs a year, about one a week are mentally tested, the police say. The number of mentally tested dogs has increased in the North region of Sweden.
