Plastic surgeon in Västerås is criticized by the Health and Social Care Inspectorate after performing liposuction. The operation was performed in 2020 and the patient underwent surgery for lipoedema, a chronic disease of the adipose tissue.
The day after the operation, the patient had a low blood count and experienced poor general condition, which according to the clinic was not taken seriously. The patient absconded from the clinic and sought emergency care from another provider. The case is the second this year where the plastic surgeon has been criticized.
