Deputies of the majority are due to meet on Tuesday morning to collectively take a decision on the strategy to be adopted on this text. Some are looking for ways to avoid consideration of the Liot proposal, which they consider financially inadmissible, or how to prevent it from being voted on.

The majority and the government are working on Article 40 of the Constitution, which prescribes that proposals by parliamentarians are not admissible if they lead to a decrease in revenue or an increase in public charges.
