Armenia is conducting parallel negotiations on the construction of a new nuclear power plant with both Russia and the United States. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this at a meeting of the parliament.

The politician proposed to consider which options for Yerevan are more profitable in economic terms. In the near future, the Armenian delegation to the U.S. will get acquainted with the capabilities of modular reactors. According to him, American nuclear reactors will make it possible to build modules with a capacity of up to 300 megawatts.
