TV presenter Irina Kuksenkova and singer, Honored Artist of Russia Yan Osin delivered capsules with fire particles from the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Moscow to Baku. The fire was handed over to the Russian community of Azerbaijan and the International Charitable Foundation of the Mountain Jews of the Republic.
On May 6, veterans of the Second World War in Cyprus were given a particle of the eternal flame from the tomb. It is noted that to date, only eight Cypriot veterans have survived.
