The Jordanian Foreign Ministry said it is following up with the Israeli government the arrest of a Jordanian parliamentarian. MP Imad al-Adwan is accused by Tel Aviv of trying to smuggle weapons through the King Hussein (Allenby) Bridge in the Jordan Valley to Israel.

The Israeli army spokesman announced that an attempt to smuggles weapons from Jordan had been thwarted. The hackers were found in possession of three bags containing dozens of different weapons and about 3 kilograms of gold, he said. According to the statement, the Israeli army had monitored their movement inside Jordanian territory and suspected them.
