In June, the North Korean regime plans to launch a military satellite into orbit. Japan has already protested – now clear words are also coming from Seoul.

The launch is planned between May 31 and June 11 – and is to be understood as a response to the "reckless military activities" of the United States. North Korea is prohibited from testing ballistic missiles by United Nations resolutions. Depending on their design, such missiles can be equipped with one or more nuclear warheads. There is a possibility that the satellite will cross the territory of Japan.
