On Sunday afternoon, exchange-traded electricity costs minus a penny throughout the country. In parts of Denmark, there is also a super sale with minus 6 öre for a kilowatt hour.

Low consumption, and favourable wind power rates for wind power in southern Sweden and Denmark, put considerable pressure on the price of electricity on the Nord Pool power exchange. But the joy is short-lived and the fluctuations are great. Towards evening, it slows down, consumption increases slightly, and the cost of electricity rises towards SEK 1.30/kWh.
