Russia's Permanent Representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, said that since 2022, about 300 communities of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church have been seized in Ukraine. He announced this at an informal meeting of the UN Security Council on the "Arria formula" According to him, the SBU has already conducted 100 searches in monasteries, churches and administrative buildings of the dioceses of the UOC.

Nebenzia demanded that the OSCE respond to the oppression of the rights of believers.
