The 4th Cross-Strait (Xiamen Haicang) Baosheng Tzu Chi Cultural Festival opened on April 16. Nearly 1,000 believers on both sides of the strait joined in the grand ceremony to pay homage to the Baos Zheng Emperor.
The event is jointly a cross-strait folk exchange event from Xiamen, Fujian, Kinmen, Penghu and Matsu. The theme is "Healthy Cross- Strait Travel Integration", through holding a series of themed activities.
