The moose population in Örebro County is decreasing. In parts of the county, hunters are doubtful whether there will be any moose hunting at all in the autumn.

The Swedish Hunters' Association in the county wants to see a reduction in shooting and that Swedish authorities accept higher targets for theMoose population. The hunting management consultant at the Swedish hunters' Association says it is important that we manage our moose populations and regulate it at appropriate levels.
