Too many people are injured by dogs in Sweden, according to the government. The investigation that is now being launched may result in a ban on certain dog breeds.
"There is nothing that excludes this in the assignment," says Minister for Rural Affairs Peter Kullgren (KD) Norway and Denmark have introduced a ban. on so-called fighting dogs. The list includes breeds such as the American Staffordshire Terrier (Amstaff), Pit Bull Terrier and Dogo Argentino. The inquiry will submit its answers at the end of February next year.
