Former Deputy President of the United States, Mike Pence, is challenging his former boss Donald Trump. Pence wants to start his campaign, according to the agencies, on Wednesday at an event in the city of Des Moines in the state of Iowa.
The Republican had already made appearances in various states to attract potential supporters to his side. Trump, however, still has a considerable lead over the competition in polls. According to the latest data, he received 53 percent of the vote among Republican supporters at RealClearPolitics, while Pence received four percent support.
