About 1,350 dead birds, mainly gulls, have now been found since the first discovery about a month ago. On Monday, two dead birds were found in Sundbyberg.

"One of these was a seagull that fell from the sky, right in front of my colleague," says Mikael Nilsson, a park worker at Råstasjön in Solna. The birds are sent to the National Veterinary Institute, SVA, for destruction. The City of Solna manages the inspections where they collect dead birds.
