Mercedes-Benz has revoked the license of the official distributor in Moldova. It is specified that the decision may be related to the possible export of new cars and spare parts outside the country after their official import.
In October, Mercedes-Benz announced its intention to withdraw from the Russian market and sell shares in its Russian subsidiaries to the Avtodom dealer. Every tenth new car sold in Russia came into the country thanks to parallel imports. In February, the number of cars sold under this scheme increased by 16% compared to January.
