The Administrative Court of Paris has validated without restriction an order of the Paris police prefecture allowing the use of drones by the police during the May 1 demonstration in the capital. Organizations defending fundamental freedoms as well as lawyers' and judges' unions had taken legal action to suspend the decree.
A similar decree concerning the parade planned in Le Havre was partially suspended by the administrative court of Rouen, which reduced the zone and the authorized time slot. On the other hand, a request filed in Lyon was rejected for "lack of urgency". Another presented in Bordeaux was also rejected.
