The Minister of Defence, Margarita Robles, has confirmed during the celebration of the Day of the Armed Forces that she will attend the general elections on 23rd July. The minister has assured that the defense policy is "State policy" and has defended that the electoral advance does not change the plans for the Ministry.
Robles has insisted that investment in defense is necessary because it is "investing in peace", and more after the war in Ukraine has shown that "our security is very vulnerable"
