The Yushu Prefecture of Qinghai Province issued a notice to the whole prefecture on April 4. Party members, cadres and public employees throughout the state should consciously resist the practice of eating and drinking in violation of the law.
Illegal drinking during working hours, use of authority or the influence of position to handle wedding and funeral celebrations, and making trouble after drinking are among the issues highlighted in the notice. It is strictly forbidden to eat and drink in hidden places and places where Party members are prohibited from entering and leaving.
