A man in his 30s is charged with attempted murder or aggravated assault at Jönköping District Court. He is suspected of assaulting the victim with a frying pan and a bat.
The victim was left in a life-threatening condition. The suspect was still in the apartment when the police arrived and was arrested on suspicion of the crime. He allegedly had drugs on him at the time and is therefore also charged with minor drug offences. The prosecutor believes that the perpetrator must have shown great recklessness in the act.
