[HIGHLIGHTS] Mali: former CMA and CSP-PSD rebels still opposed to constitutional referendum

The transitional authorities announced a vote on 18 June. It will be held everywhere except in some areas of the north controlled by the armed groups that signed the 2015 peace agreement.

The Coordination of Azawad Movements (CMA) and the CSP-PSD platform met from Saturday to Tuesday, June 6 in Kidal. They met with international mediation on Sunday. For them, the agreement remains the only tool for lasting peace and national reconciliation, a spokesperson for the C SP said.
