Three weeks after the announcement of the Minister of the Interior prohibiting the holding of meetings or demonstrations of a political nature in a public place – except for members of the executive – the first official ban has fallen. It is the Malagasy Miara-Miainga party (MMM) that paid the price this weekend.

The political meeting led by its leader Hajo Andrianainarivelo, followed by a show, should have been held in the commune of Imito, in a kianja of Savika.
