The presence of French President Emmanuel Macron in the final of the French Cup has turned the match into a high-risk match. Protests against the controversial pension reform, enacted a few weeks ago, could reach the playing field.

Unions have threatened to boycott the event, and cause a blackout, as happened on Thursday at another meeting. 3,000 police will be deployed and the Paris prefecture has prevented demonstrations around the stadium. The match between Nantes and Toulouse is already high tension, because of the rivalry between the two teams.
