Organizers were forced to gather in groups before marching on the edge of the forbidden zone. The administrative court of Lyon rejected in the morning an appeal for summary liberty filed the day before by unions, including the CGT of theRhône. The gathering of 3,000 people, according to the prefecture, began in a good-natured atmosphere around 14:00.
