French President Emmanuel Macron presented Wednesday a series of measures to improve the daily life of people with disabilities. An envelope of one and a half billion euros to make public places more accessible, announcements freshly welcomed by associations.

"Many declarations of intent and not many new measures," said Arnaud de Broca, president of the Collectif Handicaps. "We are not living up to the ideal of equality that we have engraved on the pediment of the Republic," launched President Macron at the 6th National Conference on Disability.
