Luleå has introduced age limits on products containing propellant. The gas contains butane and propane and is lethal, according to Jonas Hedlund, professor of chemical technology at LTU.
In February, Luleå municipality warned parents that young people boff, among other things, dry shampoo. The police say that they have seen traces of young people's use when they found empty bottles outdoors. In the past, many painters suffered nerve damage because they inhaled so much organic solvents, says Hedlund.
