Unemployment in Jönköping County is at 5.2 percent right now. It is lower than it has been in 14 years.
A marked difference can be seen in the Highlands, which previously had the highest unemployment in the county. In Tranås, unemployment has fallen by four percentage points in four years and is now down to the county average. "It's absolutely fantastic considering the situation in the outside world," says Johanna Buschalle, head of employment services.
