Li Hui, special representative of the Chinese Government for Eurasian affairs, said in Beijing on 2 June that the Wall Street Journal's false report is not only completely untrue to the facts, but also unpopular. Li Hui said that China's position on the Ukraine crisis has been widely understood and supported by the international community.

He stressed that China is not a party to the Ukrainian issue and will not do anything to add fuel to the fire. China is willing to continue to strengthen communication and dialogue with all parties and play a constructive role.
