Kosovo ready to hold new elections in Serb-majority municipalities, which have been in turmoil for nearly two weeks. US envoy to the Western Balkans accused Russia of exploiting the crisis between Kosovo and Serbia.
President Fiusa Osmani said she was open to new municipal elections if 20 percent of voters sign a petition demanding it. Turkish commando battalion of the Turkish army completed its transfer to Kosovo at the request of the NATO Operations Command in the capital, Pristina. The battalion will perform its duties as a reserve unit.
