The fish farm at Kolmården prison in Sweden is being dismantled. The fish are being upgraded from class 1 to class 3.

Three inmates have had the fish farm as a full-time occupation at the prison. The aquarium room is also used as a relaxation room for the inmates. "You have to be a little creative" says prison inspector Maria Sjöbeck, prison inspector at Kolmåridsanstalten. The fish that are farmed are sold to a local trader and in addition to the production.
