Kenyan police exhume 21 bodies of suspected cult members. The excavations are part of an investigation into the deaths last week of four worshippers.

The sect's leader, Pastor Paul Makenzie Nthenge, surrendered to police on April 15. He has since been detained with six of his followers and has begun a hunger strike. He was previously arrested last month after two children starved to death in the custody of their parents. The case is due to be heard by the courts on 2 May.
