Israeli forces, accompanied by bulldozers and trucks, raided the Palestinian residential community of Jub al-Dheeb, east of Bethlehem, surrounded and demolished the "Challenge 5" school. The school consists of 5 classrooms, serves students up to the fourth grade, has 66 students, and is built of bricks and roofed with tinplates.

At the same time as the demolition, clashes erupted between the Palestinian residents and the Israeli army, resulting in the injury of two young men with rubber bullets, and dozens of cases of gas suffocation.
