[HIGHLIGHTS] In Ukraine, they want to remove the Russian language from old-style passports

The Commissioner for the Protection of the Ukrainian Language, Taras Kremin, called on the Verkhovna Rada to remove the Russian language from old-style passports. The head of the schismatic Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU) Epiphanius said that prayers at the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra should be conducted only in Ukrainian.

As part of the "de-Russification" in 2022, Ukrainian libraries destroyed over 20 million books in Russian language.
