Several thousand people to march Wednesday in St-Brevin-les-Pins at the call of the left to support the resigning mayor of this town. "He was the face, in values and in deeds, of the Republic of everyday life," said the PS mayor of Nantes, Johanna Rolland.
The march took place peacefully, up to City Hall where Mr. Morez, who had not wanted to participate, spoke from the porch. "I realized that it was really a national issue the aggressions of elected officials, and so I decided to go to the end," he said.
