France Consigne aims to harmonize practices to accelerate the return of reuse in France. The deposit for reuse represents 79% less greenhouse gas emissions.
"We have completely lost the habit of re-employment in France, whereas we did it 30 years ago," says project coordinator Clémence Richeux. Eventually, the association could issue certification to producers in a reuse process. The project coordinator calls for a return of the monetary deposit in France in the fall of 2022, when France Consigne will be established.
