[HIGHLIGHTS] In Eskilstuna, every fifth child has received help from social services: "Greater inflow than others"

Almost every fifth child in Eskilstuna, aged 13-17, had some form of contact with social services in 2021. The great need among children and young people means that the Social Welfare Board is redistributing money from adult care to the younger target group.

On Tuesday, the social welfare board decided to close down the training accommodation Kvinnobo and the support housing Klostergatan. In addition to the closures, the company will change its working methods and reduce the number of services.
