The phone call follows a meeting earlier on Wednesday between U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and bin Salman in Jeddah.
The two sides highly valued the level of cooperation within the framework of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries to maintain a balance between supply and demand for oil. The phone call comes after a previous meeting between the Saudi crown prince and the US secretary of state, during which they discussed aspects of cooperation in various fields as well as reviewing regional and international developments.
