The suspected spy couple, with roots in Russia, were arrested during a dawn raid in the Stockholm area in the autumn of 2022. Behind one of their companies was a Russian ex-military man who had previously been identified as an officer in the GRU intelligence service. The case has not yet been decided and the man is still in custody while the wife is suspected of aiding and abetting.
